Join local songleader Ian Carrick for the anciently familiar practice of singing together – for aliveness amidst despair, for beauty amidst grief, for joy within the cracks in our hearts.
Songleader, Ian Carrick, (white, able-bodied, cis-man) strives to “create as welcoming space for everyone regardless of ethnicity, abilities, gender, race, immigration status, class background, politics, or age and am always willing to admit I have room to grow”. After a decade of searching for accessible forms of community-based music and recovering his own voice, Ian founded Open Hub Singing in 2016 after discovering a widespread North American cultural revival of aural tradition singing.
