DESCRIPTION:Join the anciently familiar practice of singing together! All voices welcome. \n\n\n\n6:15PM-7:45PM\n\n\n\n– This is a non-performance\, non-audition group singing event– All voices (including yours) are welcome & wanted exactly as they are \n\n\n\n– No previous experience required. Singing is just slooooow talking!– All songs are taught in a call-and-echo\, aural tradition process– We’ll sing simple\, accessible\, harmonies\, rounds\, layer songs & more\n\n\n\nJoin local songleader Ian Carrick for the anciently familiar practice of singing together – for aliveness amidst despair\, for beauty amidst grief\, for joy within the cracks in our hearts.\n\n\n\nSongleader\, Ian Carrick\, (white\, able-bodied\, cis-man) strives to “create as welcoming space for everyone regardless of ethnicity\, abilities\, gender\, race\, immigration status\, class background\, politics\, or age and am always willing to admit I have room to grow”.
